Theodore Browne

Prize of the Mozart-Society 1829 e.V. Nürnberg

He studied Bachelor of Arts in Singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt a.M. and graduated in 2017 with a Master degree. He was 1st prize winner of the International Music Competition of the Academy of Music Cologne 2014 and winner of the joint award of the Berlin Opera Houses at the national competition Gesang 2016.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The "Meistersinger von Nürnberg" singing competition, launched by the Nuremberg State Theatre, will take place every two years as of 2016, in the city of the Meistersinger. It addresses singers that already have some professional experience or are enrolled students at a Conservatoire.

The Nuremberg State Theatre is the largest in Bavaria, and one of the largest multi-purpose venues in Germany, with 650 permanent employees in the fields of opera, theatre, ballet and concerts, and stages more than 700 productions a year.
